About Me

I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University, where my focus lies in the statistical analysis of maternal complications and their associations with medications. My background is a blend of computer science and engineering; I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, which was jointly advised by Lev Reyzin and Tasos Sidiropoulos, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. My areas of expertise range from statistical analysis and machine learning to data science and optimization algorithms.

My research spans theory and application of machine learning and touches upon various aspects of graph theory. The main goal of my work is to design and develop computational techniques to efficiently analyze different data sets. My research has often been inspired by real-world problems from market prediction and advertising to computational biology and healthcare. I am always looking forward to new challenges and collaborations that can benefit from my unique blend of skills and experience.
